ALOE VERA FACIAL | DIY FACIAL AT HOME | SPRIHA_JOURNAL

Hi all!

WELCOME TO SPRIHA_JOURNAL.

2021 has bring the end of the caked-on makeup look. This new modern is more about having a healthy lifestyle and glowing skin in natural ways inside and out.

So Today, I'm going to be sharing How you can use Aloe Vera in your skincare routine with a simple DIY at home.

For all the steps, I'll be using only one ingredient mixed with Aloe Vera which  you can easily find in your kitchen. So, the whole process becomes Quick and handy.

Before getting started with the steps let's know what are some benefits of Aloe Vera for skin.

1. Aloe Vera is best known for its soothing effect. It contains pain relieving compound called carboxypeptidase, which provides soothing effect on your skin when applied

2. Aloe Vera is made of about 95% of water thats why when we apply it on our skin it keep our skin hydrated which in turn make skin healthy.

3. Aloe vera contains salicylic acid that prevents from unclogging pores which further helps in reducing acne and pimples.

There are a ton of other benefits but if i start about that It's gonna take a whole long article about it so In short my point is that Aloe Vera is extremely beneficial for skin as well as hair and we should definitely include it in our skincare routine in any way

Now that we know several benefits of Aloe Vera, let's get started with the steps:

STEP 1 :  CLEANSING

For Cleansing, Take 1 tbsp Aloe Vera gel and 1 tbsp Raw milk. Mix it well and gently massage on your face for 1-2 minutes.

Raw milk contains Lactic acid that works as a mild peeling agent.
It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Vitamin E and protein.
It helps to remove dirt and dead cells from the skin and act as a natural cleanser

STEP 2 :  EXFOLIATE

For Exfoliation,  Take 1 tbsp Aloe Vera gel and 1 tbsp Coffee powder. Mix it well and scrub on your face in upward direction.

Coffee contains CGAs, which has anti inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Combined with the natural exfoliation of coffee grounds and soothing effect of Aloe Vera gel, all these can help your skin fight with Acne, reduce dark spots, reduce wrinkles and fine lines and tightens your skin.

Caffeine content in coffee blood circulation which in turn makes your skin glow naturally.

STEP 3 :  STEAMING

For Steaming,  Put hot water in a container.
Soak  your towel in hot water and gently dab all over your face for 2 minutes.
Repeat this whole process for 3-4 times.

The warm steam opens up the pores and allows the skin cells to release dead skin cells, bacteria and other impurities that clog the pores and causes acne, blackheads, whiteheads etc.

It helps skin absorb the ingredient better.

That's why it is done after scrubbing because scrubbing scrubs the dirt out from outside the skin, then we steam and open our pores to release the impurities locked inside and then we massage our skin with massage cream for skin to absorb the ingredient much better.

STEP 4 :  MASSAGE CREAM

To make the Massage cream, Take 1 tbsp Aloe Vera gel and 2-3 drops of Tea-tree oil.
Massage it well for 5-10 mins. Try doing some facial massage techniques and add some facial exercises in your routine as well.

Don't forget to include your neck in each step.

Before using tea tree oil, make sure to do a patch test and confirm your skin doesn't react to tea tree oil. If it does, you can always use coconut oil as an alternative.

The anti inflammatory effect of tea tee oil helps in soothing your skin and provides relive onto your skin.

Tea tree oil has anti microbial effects that helps in reducing acne scars, redness, dark circles etc.

It is best known for its calming effects

STEP 5 :  FACE PACK

For making this Face Pack, Take 1 tbsp Aloe Vera gel and add 1/2 tbsp of Kasturi Turmeric. Mix it well and apply it on your face and neck excluding the eye area.

keep it for 10 minutes and wash it off with cold water

STEP 6 :  MOISTURIZER

For this step, simply take some Aloe Vera on your fingertips and apply it on your face. Pat on you skin with your palms well and you're done.

Another thing I do in summer in place of moisturizer is that you cut Aloe Vera in cubes and put it in your Refrigerator at the very beginning of this facial. Then in place of moisturizer, just massage gently with this frozen Aloe Vera cube and I bet are gonna love it.

This all look like a lengthy schedule but trust me, once you do it, you will find it easy to follow because you only need to add 1 ingredient for each step which is easiest DIY facial at home.
Only deal is to get aloe Vera gel which you can easily extract from Aloe Vera plant in your home.

If you don't have Aloe Vera plant in your home, there are plenty of options available in market. Currently I am using this Plum Aloe Vera gel. You can simply buy this one from here if you want.

It's hardly gonna take 20-25 minutes and  it will be all worth it after you see the immediate glow on your skin.

Hope you like this. Try to this facial once every week for a naturally glowing skin and share your views in the comment section below.
