EARRINGS EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE TO SLAY EVERY OCCASION | SPRIHA_JOURNAL

Today I'm gonna be talking about some earring types that should be in your list according to different occasions and outfits to avoid your last minute rush. 

1. Hoop Earring 

Starting with my very favourite and go to pick the very first one in my list is a Hoop earring. 

Whenever in doubt just go for hoop earring.

I personally feel it can go with any outfit and for any occasion. Isn't it amazing that you have that one pair of earring that literally can be picked out every time you're stepping out or every time you are confused about what earring will go with a particular outfit.

Be it your beach look or a date night hoop earring goes with all.

2. Stud Earring 

Stud earring is a very pretty little studs attached with a fixture from other side. It looks very pretty and elegant with a office look or you can use this to style your everyday look. 

 

It generally don't go well with heavy outfits but you can use gold/silver studs for a minimal dinner look.

This type of earring is a very good option for a minimalist or people who don't like to put heavy earrings often.

3. Oxidised Earring 

Oxidised earring is my personal favourite and the sole reason is because it can add great volume to a very simple outfit. Only deal is that you need to have a good taste in colour combinations. 

You can use gold/silver oxidised jewellery  with a traditional outfit and look amazing.

At the same time you can add faded oxidised accessories with printed outfits and plan a boho look for your summer holidays.  

I love wearing it both ways but its takes a little planning to blend it well with your outfits and colour combinations. 

5. Ear cuffs 

Ear cuff gives you quite a unique and stylish look and the best thing about ear cuff is that you don't really need actual piercing to wear this.

Ear cuffs are a popular trend in funky chick jewellery.  

If you are someone who loves to experiment with your look and loves to stand out every time, you should definitely try this.

Other good thing about ear cuffs which I want to highlight here is that these literally go with any type of outfit like western, traditional, mix and match, funky and all. Only deal is to choose the right variety for the right outfit and place.

6. Golden/silver  Earring 

If you're an Indian, you'd know how golden/silver pearl or mirrorwork earrings can change the whole traditional game for us. 

Indian look is incomplete without a long heavy golden earring that compliments your outfit well. So, It's definitely a must have for any Indian woman. 

However, If you're not Indian, you can totally skip this. 

7. Drop Earring

Drop earrings are those that drops slightly below the earlobe.

Drop earrings looks very classy and elegant. Its a perfect option for date night/dinner look.

You can pair it up with a lot of outfits according to your style but I love pairing drop earrings with a bodycon outfit 

9. Dangle Earring 

Dangle earrings are again a very unique and stylish type of earring that makes you look quite stylish and allow you to stand out just like ear cuffs but both gives a very different look with different varieties available in market. 

Also, you're gonna need piercing for this unlike ear cuffs.

You can match some golden/silver dangle earrings for a traditional look and a vibrant one to get a funky look for some casual outing.

 Also I would like to add that drop earring and dangle earrings sounds quite similar but they are a bit different. 

Drop earrings are stationary and don't move while dangle earrings swing back and forth.

This teeny tiny difference is enough to give you a different look with both. 

So, yeah these 9 earring is pretty much enough for any girl's earring collection as a basic. 

Although, there are whole lot different types available in market but if you have these you have enough to cover all occasions and I've listed it all according to ongoing trend so you're good to go.
